
ABOUT ARTIST
Zimpraise is a gospel choir/music group based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
They were founded in October 2006 by a group of individuals including Joseph Madziyire, Macdonald Macdee Chidavaenzi and Garikai Ndanga.
The goal was to bring together Christians from different denominations into a unified worship music group using music to “unite nations for God’s glory.”
Their music is gospel worship, praise, spiritual songs. Over the years they’ve blended contemporary gospel with traditional African influences, giving their music a distinctive identity.
Zimpraise is often likened to other big gospel choirs/collectives in Africa: a dynamic “choir” made of many voices, instruments, and backgrounds delivering powerful worship music.
