Gisubizo Ministry – Ntazakureka | Gospel Audio

“Ntazakureka” is a word from Kinyarwanda (and also understood in Kirundi).
Nta = not / never
Za = will
Kureka = leave / abandon

So “Ntazakureka” literally means “He will not leave you” or “He will never abandon you.”

In a gospel song, “Ntazakureka” expresses the faithfulness and constant presence of God or Jesus Christ. It is a declaration that God will never forsake His people, even in difficult times.
It reflects biblical promises such as:
Hebrews 13:5 – “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Isaiah 41:10 – “Do not fear, for I am with you.”

Spiritual Meaning
When sung in worship, “Ntazakureka” communicates that:
  • God stays with you in suffering and trials.
  • His love is permanent and dependable.
  • He protects and guides His people.
  • Believers are never alone because God’s presence remains.
Therefore “Ntazakureka” = “God will never leave you.”
