Full Name: Rose Muhando
Date of Birth: 29 July 1976
Place of Birth: Dumila village, Kilosa District, Morogoro Region, Tanzania. 

Music Career
Beginnings: Muhando began her musical journey as a choir teacher at the Saint Mary’s Choir in Chimuli Anglican Church, Dodoma. 

Breakthrough: Her recording career took off in the early 2000s with albums like Mteule Uwe Macho (2004), Kitimutimu (2005), and Jipange Sawasawa (2008). 

Record Deal: In 2011, she signed a historic multi-album contract with Sony Music Africa, making her one of the first gospel artists in East and Central Africa to land such a deal.
